Holidays on Java

…or Java on holidays! What other can a Java-geek like you do during your well-deserved rest than keep looking for any signs, which remind you of your favorite programming language? Nothing? We thought so, too ;)

Show us how Java keeps haunting you during the summer time. Spotted Duke anywhere? Your morning cup of coffee in a resort restaurant looks suspicious? Coding on a beach? Take a photo and share your Javacation experience!

We will award people who encounter the most nagging reminder of Java during their holiday voyages.

Author of the most creative, funny and surprising photo receives free tickets to JDD 2017 - for oneself & 5 colleagues, who would make a perfect holiday crew! (You can send us photos as a team, of course!)

2nd and 3rd best photos will be awarded accordingly with 50% and 30% ticket discounts.
Please send your photos at: until August 25th and, most of all, have fun this summer!

You will find the rules of the contest here.

Become a JUGmajster! Competition for debutant speakers

Have you ever considered stepping on conference stage to share your professional experience? Or maybe you wondered how all those famous speakers began their career? You can witness all of that at JDD 2017! As in previous years, the attendees will select the best debutant speaker - JUGmajster.

Why do we choose the JUGmajster? JDD is a community-driven conference - thanks to cooperation with Polish Java User Groups, great speakers from local communities get a chance to perform on a large stage, and we are able to deliver a truly relevant conference program. That’s why we came up with the idea of JUGmajster competition.

The candidates come from local JUGs and appear on JDD stage for the first time. Help them on their path to victory by rating their talks OR join their fight for the JUGmajster title!

You can find out more about the competition on JUGmajster subsite.
